You'll work one-on-one with our in house designers

Once you approve the design, a wax carving will be made.

This gives you a really good idea of what your final piece will look like. You'll be able to see it from all sides and angles.

Once you approve the wax carving, the piece is cast, stones set, polished and ready for you to pick up.

We love working with you to come up with something unique and meaningful.

What is the Mohs Scale?

The Mohs Hardness Scale was created to rank the hardness of gemstones and minerals. The scale ranges from 1 (Talc) to 10 (Diamond). Diamonds resist scratches better than any other gemstone. For comparison, your fingernail is considered a hardness of 2.5.

What hardness do I need for my ring?

Since a wedding or engagement ring is worn everyday and rarely taken off, we recommend for larger stones a hardness of 8 and above. It's ok to use softer stones with small, protected placements such as in the middle of the metal or using a bezel or semi bezel setting.

Moissanite: Flashes of Rainbow

Moissanite was discovered inside a meteorite crater in Arizona in 1893 by prize-winning chemist, Dr. Henri Moissan. He initially thought he had found diamonds. The intriguing new gem was named Moissanite in his honor.

Moissanite for jewelry is created in a lab under strict standards which makes for uniform, beautiful stones. It is a great option for engagement rings as it's the next hardest stone after a Diamond at 9.25.
